To Easton!

I was able to get a few people together and make our way up to Columbus today.  “Moon” was playing at one of the thirty screens that they have at Easton so I was finally able to see it.  Wow, what a great movie.  Unfortunately, I hadn’t slept in nearly 24 hours, so I did nod off once or twice, but it was no fault of the movie.  Same Rockwell was amazing, Kevin Spacey was great and the movie was just… I don’t know.  I can’t put my finger on it, but it was for sure a solid 4 out of 5.  I am sure we will talk about it some on the show next week.

Now for the bad news…  My fears that the plot of “Moon” and my latest short story were similar were well founded.  Though the trailer for “Moon” does a good job of getting your attention while keeping the plot more or less unspoiled, it aparently put enough of a seed in my head to come up with a story that was or less the same.  I will likely finish the story just as an exercise.  If I do finish it, there is a chance you will see it on here.  I doubt I would finish it unless I make some major changes and felt that it wasn’t a complete rip off of the movie.

Anyways, if you get a chance, go see “Moon.”  Even if you have to go slightly out of your way, it’s worth it.

Say something... I dare you.
