In Memory of Katie

Thirteen years ago we brought two calico kittens into our house and hearts. Today we lost one of them. Katie Kitty Watkins passed peacefully surrounded by those who loved her. She was a beautiful cat, full of love and spirit. I will never forget the oddly forceful way she would rub on your leg or the winters when she would sleep with me on the couch. Though it hurts terribly right now, she gave us a wonderful memory and all I can hope is that we made her as happy as she made us.

Gone, but never forgotten. You are loved and missed.

I’m so sorry about Katie. I absolutely believe our pets know how much we love and adore them, and they know we would do just about anything for them. Sadly, that includes knowing when to let go. You should feel good about having given her a loving home where she didn’t have a care in the world.
